With a wealth of fifteen years dedicated to teaching and tutoring in the fields of physics and mathematics, I have developed a unique methodology that empowers me to successfully achieve my objectives. This approach, coined as ADMIE, serves as the cornerstone of my instructional strategy.
1.
Assessment
The
first step in the learning process is to know the student/tutee through
conversation and by giving diagnostic tests. This will depict what the needs of
the specific student are as well as whether the student is an inductive or a
deductive learner.
2.
Design
Design
a course outline and device a means of helping the student based on the
assessment results.
3.
Motivate
Motivate
the student by asking the student clicker questions in each topic.
4.
Involve
Encourage
the student to ask questions, give comments and participate in solving
problems.
5.
Evaluate
·
Evaluate the student's understanding using
quizzes.
·
Assess the student's classroom progress.
